New Advancements in Clinical and Molecular Research in Sleep Medicine

Overview

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) is committed to evolving areas of inquiry and discovery. Our group of 25 faculty members are willing to contribute with this endeavor that we are launching. A program that will be held twice a year, and will be offered to medical practitioners.
Registration Prices: $600 (Regular) $350 (PA and Nurse Practitioners) $200 (Students, Residents and Fellows)

Objectives

At the end of the activity the learners will be able to:
• Be familiar with new frontier research in sleep and related disorders
• Recognize signs & symptoms of commons sleep disorders
• Adequately apply treatment options for sleep related disorders
• Acquire hand-on skills applicable to primary care settings in the recognition and treatment of sleep related disorders
• Identify challenges faced by different specialists in dealing with patients with sleep related disorders
